The Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe has approved that the 2019/2020 Orientation Programme for fresh UTME and Direct Entry students be held from Monday 10th February to Sunday 16th February 2020.
The schedule is as follows:
Day 1- Monday 10th February, 2020
Morning Session Campaign against drug abuse and associated vices and guided tour of the Campus at 8:00a.m. Take off point is the frontage of J.F.Ade Ajayi Auditorium. Dress code is T-shirt/sports wear.
Afternoon session
Interaction/reception at Jelili Adebisi Omotola Hall.
Day 2 – Tuesday 11th February, 2020
Guided tour of the University Main Library and orientation lectures at 8:00a.m. at J.F. Ade Ajayi Auditorium and the frontage of the Main Library.
Day 3 –
Wednesday 12th February, 2020
Orientation lectures and interactive session with resource persons.
Day 4 – Thursday 13th February, 2020
Novelty Match at 8:00a.m

Dress code – formal (white and black with academic gown)
Special Jumat Service for Muslim freshers holds on Friday 14th February, 2020 at the University Mosque at 1:00p.m
Special Worship Service for Christian freshers holds on Sunday 16th February 2020 at 9:00a.m. at the Chapel of Christ Our Light (CCOL).
Please note that the Vice
Chancellor has approved Monday 10th February to Sunday 16th February 2020 to be lecture free week for freshers only to enable them attend and participate fully in the exercise. The exercise is compulsory for all new students, attendance will be taken. DSA.
