National Essay Competition 2020
UBA Foundation, the CSR arm of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, wishes to the individual(s) about the commencement of the 2020 edition of the National Essay Competition (NEC) for senior high school students in Ghana. The competition provides a competitive platform for these students to develop their intellectual and writing abilities. Winners would be awarded educational grants to study in any African University of their choice.
Applicants must be students of Senior High School in Ghana.
The educational grant is open to applicants who desire to study in any African University.
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants should submit their entry for the competition by uploading a scanned copy of their handwritten essay not exceeding 750 words on the topic “The Challenges Facing Education Of The African Youth In The Midst of the Novel Covid19 Pandemic” then send it to UBA Foundation, United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Ltd, Heritage Tower, PMB 29 Ministries-Accra, Ghana or click the button below.
Essay applications can also be submitted to a UBA branch near you with the following:
– Applicants contact information (name & address of the school, telephone number, residential and email addresses).
– photocopies of your original birth certificates or international passport data pages.
End on 30th November 2020.
The judge has the final say as regards the results and awarding of submitted essays.
The overall winner bags an amount of $5000, $3000 and $2000 for the first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.
