Update about the 2021 Foundwork Artist Prize
We are excited to share that 2021 are going to be the primary year that we award the Foundwork Artist Prize to 2 honorees, both of whom will receive unrestricted $10,000 grants and studio visits with this year’s distinguished jurors. The honorees and three shortlisted artists also will be invited for interviews as a part of our Dialogues program to further public engagement with their work.

About the Prize
The Foundwork Artist Prize is an annual juried award that we inaugurated in 2019 to acknowledge outstanding practices by contemporary artists. Starting in 2021, we’ll be awarding the Foundwork Artist Prize to 2 honorees, both of whom will receive unrestricted $10,000 grants and studio visits with each of this year’s distinguished jurors. The honorees and three shortlisted artists also will be invited for interviews as a part of our Dialogues program to further public engagement with their work.
