JUDGING CRITERIA
The strength of an application submission are going to be assessed against the subsequent category areas:
•Does the present team have the specified skills for execution?
•Is there a demonstrated need or gap within the market that the startup’s solutions solve for?
• is that the total addressable market substantial enough to form this a lucrative investment opportunity?
•What other solutions exist today that also solve for the identified problem?
•Does the startup have any competitive advantages or moats?
•Has the startup shown any traction?
•Is there evidence to validate that the present business model can produce attractive returns and is additionally scalable?
•How well does the answer tackle one among the UN’s SDGs
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Competition seeks to elevate founders who are creating innovative products, solutions, or services that strategically tackle Africa’s biggest and most urgent challenges. To be eligible to participate within the NVC, founders must meet the subsequent criteria:
• Pre-Seed or Seed (business must have raised no quite $150K)
• Company must have but 3 years of operation and no quite 50 employees
• Business must primarily be serving African market although the business doesn’t need to be domiciled in Africa
• hospitable all industries
