OVERVIEW
Support for little Business
Created as a key pillar of KKR’s COVID-19 Relief Effort, KKR Small Business Builders (SBB) aims to support entrepreneurs and their small businesses round the world. The grants are designed to assist business owners sustain their enterprises, maintain or create jobs, and spur economic opportunity as they answer the continued COVID-19 crisis and get over its resultant economic dislocation. KKR Small Business Builders will support companies in three key ways:
•Provide access to capital through a series of $10,000 grants to chose small businesses in our communities
•Offer technical support to small business owners through a variety of mentoring and training opportunities with KKR employees
•Connect small businesses to a network of resources and a thriving online community through our partners at Hello Alice

In response, KKR is proud to launch the KKR Small Business Builders fund. KKR Small Business Builders will provide recovery grants to local companies in communities round the world. We believe that now’s the time to take a position in our neighborhoods and neighbors during a new way. We believe that, together, we will be builders.
Eligibility and specialize in Impact
KKR Small Business Builders has a stress on companies that are pivoting their business in response to the pandemic; are operated by historically underrepresented groups (HUGs); and/or are providing important community services.
ELIGIBILITY
•To be eligible, a business must have between 5 and 50 employees, but $7 million USD in annual revenue, demonstrated need for support, a robust plan for moving forward, and be in good standing with the IRS or their local regulatory body. THE BROADER WORK
The KKR Small Business Fund is a component of KKR’s larger COVID-19 Relief Fund. Launched in April 2020, The Relief Fund aims to support businesses, communities, and individuals most impacted by the pandemic and resultant economic dislocation.
