The Children’s Prize is awarded to scientifically-minded individuals with a passion for global child health and a robust commitment to verify the impact of their work. Between 2013 and 2020, the Prize has awarded over $1,850,000.00 to such individuals and organizations across the world .

In 2014, two projects were selected as case studies to strengthen the event and more accurately determine the impact of kid mortality of a Prize focused on data and scientific proof. These case studies served as real-world scenarios to assist us better understand what changes needed to be made in terms of knowledge collection and analysis, and the way the Prize might be refined to best address those needs.

Do you have an efficient intervention that aims to save lots of the lives of youngsters under five?

Globally, 14,250 children under the age of 5 die a day . The Children’s Prize is an open online competition with a mission to advance child health and survival by insisting on impact and data-driven interventions. The first-round runs from June 16th to July 30th, 2021 and is hospitable individuals and organizations globally. The Prize administrators look for an impactful project that aligns with the Foundation’s goals, features a measured reduction in child mortality, and significant experience within the field. Selected applicants are going to be invited to participate during a second round in September and therefore the winner are going to be announced in December. The winner will have the chance to enter into a $150,000 grant agreement.

Since 2013, the Children’s Prize has awarded over $1,850,000 to life-saving interventions across the world .
