In 1998, IFFR launched the young film critics trainee program as a recognition of the vital role of film analysis and criticism. This program has helped develop and support the younger generation of film critics.
Young, professional film critics are invited from outside the Netherlands to cover our festival as a means of sharpening their journalistic skills and explore other offers at the IFFR.
IFFR is one of the biggest international film festivals for the audience, stakeholders in the industry, and press.
On offer at the program are insights into films, cinematic gems, art installations, performances, talks, and lots more.
