Artist! The Odyssée program supports residencies of foreign artists, researchers and professionals/professionals who don’t reside in France and who wish to develop projects within the network of cultural meeting centres.

The Odyssey programme is travel by the Association of Cultural Meeting Centres- Artist

Cultural Meeting Centres (CCR) are places built around an inventive , cultural and intellectual project in synergy with the main heritage site where they’re located.

Candidacy
•The programme covers all cultural sectors (live performance, literature, music, architecture, crafts, visual arts, theatre writing, animation, photography, journalism).

•For applications for residencies within the artistic and cultural fields, applications must propose projects associated with the topic of the chosen French cultural meeting centres (CCR). Up to three different centres are often chosen as an area of residence – Artist

For applications for residence within the fields of cultural management and development of cultural networks, there’s no got to choose a CCR, it’s sufficient to point on the shape the association (ACCR).

Note that artists can propose a residency project during a center in France and a middle of the network of cultural centers of encounter abroad. The residency project must then correspond to the cultural projects of the 2 selected centres.Artist

If accepted, the residency will happen 2/3 of the time within the center in France and 1/3 of the time within the center of the network abroad.

APPLICATION PACKAGE

Attachments (as files) are going to be attached to the form:

the candidate’s CV ,
the project it proposes to hold out during the residence, in accordance with the activity and specific project of the chosen centre. Artist

•A portfolio of works or links to the recording of musical or theatrical pieces etc.

•A letter of motivation.

•A letter of advice ,
proof of domicile (electricity bill, phone bill , etc.).

•photocopy of passport or card .

•Documents and attachments could also be in English or French.

DEADLINE
Application deadline: March 15, 2022

Please note: Applications for troupes or artistic ensembles are accepted.

SELECTED CALENDAR
•End of April 2022: Commission for the choice of applications for the Odyssée scholarships.

•May – June 2022: Send responses to candidates and publish online list.

•Fall 2022 – Summer 2023: period of residence development.

COVERED COSTS IF SELECTED

•The selected candidates are awarded a residence grant of 1200 € per month for a period of 1 to six months.

•Accommodation and meals are provided by the cultural meeting centre where the chosen candidate resides.

•Travel expenses are going to be reimbursed up to an amount determined on the idea of the trip to be made and supporting documents.

•Visa applications and costs are going to be covered within the program budget.

•Residents also benefit, whenever possible, from the supply of technical means for completing their residence project.
