ABOUT THE CONTEST
The PROPANAMÁ IDEATIÓN was established in response to the challenges facing the creative sector due to COVID-19. It is a collective call to action to devise solutions that strengthen the creative community and the country’s economy.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
This Ideathon is open to everyone, including Panamanian residents and international participants. Applicants are invited to submit a main idea to address the challenges facing the creative industries. The winning idea will propose an innovative solution for the creative sector in Panama, including social and economic impacts.
WHY PARTICIPATE?
The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged the creative sector, eliminating the opportunity for face-to-face meetings at plays, art galleries, concerts, museums, fashion shows, closing public galleries, to name just a few consequences. We are inviting Panamanians and foreigners to submit innovative ideas in support of the creative community in Panama.
HOW TO TAKE PART?
Anyone with a well-conceived and well-articulated idea relevant to Panama’s creative sector can submit a proposal.
Following the calendar, on August 10, 2020, the CLICK TO PARTICIPATE button will be enabled, where you can register and submit your proposal.
On August 24, 2020, the button will stop working and no further proposals will be accepted.
Proposals submitted in a timely manner will be evaluated by the Jury and the results will be published on this website and on all PROPANAMÁ social networks.
The winner will be contacted to receive the award.

MONDAY, AUGUST 10
8:00 am. The PROPANAMA IDEATON opens to receive proposals.
MONDAY, AUGUST 24
12:00 am. At midnight the entry of proposals closes.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3
The Grand Jury draws up the list of finalists.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4
The Grand Jury will contact the finalists to hear the presentation of their proposals.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8
Great virtual Gala to announce the winners of the categories and the great winner of the contest.
