The objective of the ENERGY GLOBE Award is to present successful sustainable projects to a worldwide audience and to demonstrate that for many of our environmental problems feasible solutions are already available.

Projects submitted from over 180 countries participate annually within the Energy Globe Awards. For 2021 innovative projects and smart technologies from round the world are invited to submit. Participation is hospitable all projects which save our surroundings like resource conservation, improving air and water quality, energy efficiency and renewable energies and related areas. Also projects that specialise in the creation of awareness in these areas are going to be eligible to participate.

The categories are Earth | Fire | Water | Air | Youth and therefore the new special category Sustainable Start-Up.
Cooperation partner within the new special category is UNIDO.

Every individual, private or public institution, company, NGO, etc. can submit one or multiple project(s).

The submission is free.

Application to the Award 2022 is open.

In each participating country, the simplest project is awarded with the National Energy Globe Award. This winning project is presented within the global online platform of Energy Globe and also within the national media.

The best projects are going to be honored as a part of a ceremony which will be broadcast worldwide also as featured within the international media. International winning projects for the award categories of Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Youth and Sustainable Start-Ups also will each receive a cash award.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Any company, organization (i.e. NGO, club, school, university), individual or public authority that contributes to global climate change and other environmental issues.

We award projects within the categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Youth and Sustainable Start-Ups. We are trying to find projects that provide solutions to air, soil and pollution , apply renewables and increase energy efficiency, demonstrate sustainable use of our planet’s resources, and contribute to the environmental education. No project is just too big or too small!

An applicant can submit quite one project. A project are often submitted in any country, no matter whether we’ve awarded a project during this country before.

2. After preparing your application kindly complete the web form.

HOW can we EVALUATE?
Our international jury consisting of about 30 energy and environmental experts evaluate each project supported different criteria. Chairwoman of the jury is Maneka Gandhi.

First, Energy Globe national awards are determined on a rustic level and presented in their respective country (currently quite 180 countries).
As a next step, the simplest projects from each country are nominated for the Energy Globe World Award (international awards), which is presented in 5 different categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Youth. The Energy Globe World Award event is that the highlight of the year, where the simplest projects are featured to a worldwide audience.
