OVER THE YEARS, WE HAVE DONE EVERYTHING WITHIN OUR MEANS TO DESIGN FASHION IN EVERYTHING WITHIN IT’S SCOPE FOLLOWING THE DIFFERENT INVENTIONS&INNOVATIONS. ALTHOUGH WE KNOW WE MIGHT NOT ALWAYS BE THE BEST, BUT WE INTEND TO MOVE FORWARD AND PUSH OURSELVES BEYOND OUR LIMITS.

THE TOMMY HILFIGER FASHION FRONTIER CHALLENGE WHICH WAS FIRST LAUNCHED IN 2018, IS A YEARLY PROGRAM THAT SEEKS TO FIND AND SUPPORT THE IDEAS OF SOME OF THE WORLD’S NEW BEST IN THE FASHION WORLD THROUGH MENTORSHIP PROGRAMMES AND FINANCIAL AIDS TO HELP ACTUALIZE THEIR DREAMS.
ELIGIBILITY
GOING BY TOMMY HILFIGER’S VISION TO WASTE NOTHING AND WELCOME ALL, THE PROGRAM THIS TIME AROUND IS WORKING TOWARDS HELPING BLACK, INDIGENOUS AND PEOPLE OF COLOUR(BIPOC)ENTREPRENEURS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN PROMOTING THEIR COMMUNITIES AS WELL AS A BETTER AND MORE EFFECTUAL FUTURE FOR THE WORLD OF FASHION.
THIS GROUP OF UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ALSO SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS AS WELL HAS ENCOURAGED ME BY THEIR INVENTIONS WHICH ARE MAKING THE FASHION INDUSTRY MORE ENCOMPASSING AND DURABLE SAID MR TOMMY HILFIGER
APPLICATION PROCESS
FOLLOWING A SERIES OF PROCESSES, APPLICANTS WOULD BE SHORTLISTED DOWN TO SIX FINALISTS WHO WOULD, LATER ON, BE INVITED TO DEVELOP THEIR PROJECT PLANS ONLINE WITH SUPPORTS FROM COMMITTED TOMMY HILFIGER AND SOME EXTERNAL EXPERTS AS WELL. THERE WILL BE TRAINING FROM AN EXPERIENCED PITCH COACH AFTER WHICH FINALISTS WILL PRESENT THEIR FINAL DESIGNS AT THE UNIVERSAL TOMMY HILFIGER FASHION FRONTIER CHALLENGE IN THE FINAL EVENTS WHICH WILL BE HOLDING IN EARLY 2022.
AWARDS
A REPUTABLE JURY PANEL WHICH INCLUDES MR TOMMY HILFIGER WOULD BE SET UP TO SELECT WINNERS WHO WOULD RECEIVE A CASH PRIZE OF €200,000. THERE WOULD ALSO BE AN ADDITIONAL €15,000 WHICH WILL BE AWARDED TO THE FINALIST WHO WINS “AUDIENCE FAVOURITE VOTE “. THE WINNERS WOULD ALSO BE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE A YEAR LONG MENTORSHIP WITH TOMMY HILFIGER AND INSEAD EXPERTS, AS WELL AS A PLACE IN THE INSEAD SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM(SEP).

ANOTHER PERSON IS AUF AUGENHOEHE A FASHION LABEL THAT SPECIALISES IN DEVELOPING STYLES FOR PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM DWARFISM.
WINNERS FROM THE SECOND EDITION INCLUDES APON WELLBEING, A SCALE-UP BUSINESS THAT SEEKS TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF FACTORY WORKERS IN BANGLADESH THROUGH PROVISION OF AFFORDABLE HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME. ALSO, ANOTHER WINNER IS A BEAUTIFUL MESS, A DUTCH MAKERS SPACE THAT HELPS REFUGEES TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS TO BE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY INDEPENDENT.
