It is no doubt that the economic sector has been adversely affected by the global pandemic; there is a need for a more pragmatic approach to reviving the economy.

In this light, the Impact Hub, in conjunction with the Lab of Tomorrow and proudly supported by The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), has come up with the ERPE program.

The Economy Recovery Program for Entrepreneurs aims to accelerate the development of business ventures, startups, initiatives, and ventures based in Ghana and Nigeria.

ERPE will be virtual and run from 17 of August 2020 – February 2021 through which local and international business experts would help chosen candidates develop in business and networking.

• Be business coached
• Consult senior experts for business advice
• Exclusive opportunity for fundraising
• Be trained in areas of personal development and technical skills.
• Partner for business development opportunities.
• Assisted in project development by experts
• Exclusive pass to Impact Hub Space workshop as soon as the lockdown restriction is over.

APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY

• Opened for entrepreneurs based in Ghana or Nigeria.
• Entrepreneurs whose business ventures are in the advanced or starting stage, highly marketable startups, non-profit organizations, or initiatives.
• Entrepreneurs must identify economic recovery challenges and opportunities in their locality.
• Their business venture, startup, a non-profit organization, or initiatives should be able to impact the society and environment.
• Enterprises must be sustainable
• Enterprises must be marketable.
NOTE: Applicants in Ghana must have their challenges targeted towards agriculture, healthcare, education, tourism and hospitality, and manufacturing.
Applicants in Nigeria must have their challenges targeted at agriculture, healthcare, education, and creative culture.

Application for ventures ends 9 of October 2020, or after the first 500 submissions, with each country having 250 applicants.
