OVERVIEW
Womanish Design Council and NICOLEHOLLIS are pleased to advertise the FDC NICOLEHOLLIS Grant, a devoted fiscal entitlement for BIPOC womanish- linked contrivers and engineers. Female Design Council and NICOLEHOLLIS fete the significance of supporting womanish- linked creatives, and have pledged to give direct backing and mentorship to BIPOC women through this unique innards design and armature entitlement.

AWARD
The FDC NICOLEHOLLIS Grant will award one$ USD fiscal entitlement to a WOC- led interior design/ armature establishment or existent in the United States.

The entitlement is intended to give the necessary fiscal support to expand company size and/ or produce new design collections. Grant winners will also admit professional mentorship from the NICOLEHOLLIS platoon.

Grant 02 FDC NH is the alternate FDC entitlement in our Entitlement series started in 2020 to attack the lack of diversity being shown in the design assiduity. The FDC NICOLEHOLLIS Grant is part of the Female Design Council’s ongoing investment to empower and support women of color in design and give a platform for youthful people to see themselves through successful part models as well as have a network of other creatives supporting their growth.

The initial juried entitlement, Entitlement 01, was designed to support the ideas of Black women contrivers in the United States with two$ USD fiscal subventions (in cooperation with BZIPPY & Incollect) to give arising contrivers with the fiscal coffers to bring their idea into prototyping and/ or product.

BRIEF HISTORY
The FDC NICOLEHOLLIS Grant was funded by a NICOLEHOLLIS transaction held in April 2021, with generous participation from celebrity galleries similar as Friedman Benda, Gallery FUMI, The Future Perfect, Jessica Silverman, Cristina Grajales and others. We’re so thankful to our community for coming together to support our ongoing FDC programs, and we couldn’t be more agitated by NICOLEHOLLIS’s commitment to supporting different womanish- linked persons in design and armature.

GUIDELINES & ELIGIBILITY
• Tone- identify as a woman of color

• Open to contrivers progressed 22

• Contrivers must be working in interior design or armature with no further than 5 times into its practice

• Must live and work within the United States

• Aspirants must be suitable to admit taxable income in the United States anyhow of their citizenship status
