WBIP is a highly coveted yearly Internship program open to personnel from all over the globe. This internship opportunity aims to:
Build successful applicants; foster an inclusive and collaborative environment, expose individuals to the intricacies of how the prestigious World Bank operates, and how individuals can work in an international organization. The World Bank Internship Program embraces and supports the diversity of persons and stance, and ensures a working environment where there is an exchange of relevant knowledge in safety.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Applicants must hold a first degree (BSc.)

Applicants must currently be in a full-time graduate program (Ph.D., Masters, …)

Applicants must be able to communicate in the English language.

Fluency in the following languages is an added advantage: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic.

Computer literacy is an added advantage.

FIELD OF OPERATION REQUIRED

Front Line field: Economics, finance, human development —public health, education, nutrition, population–, social sciences (anthropology, sociology), agriculture, environment, engineering, urban planning, natural resources management, private sector development, and other related fields

Corporate Operation field: Accounting, communications, human resources management, information technology, treasury, and other corporate services.

BENEFITS

Travel expenses (to and fro) amounting up to USD 3,000 when applicable.
